Common questions
Do I need an account?
Yes. Body Metrics requires an account with email and password. Your measurements sync securely across your devices and are protected by your login.
Metric or imperial?
Both. Toggle between cm and inches, kg and lb — the whole app adapts.
Where does my data go?
Your measurements are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud, EU region), tied to your account. Data is encrypted in transit. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
Does it sync with Apple Health or Google Health Connect?
No. Body Metrics is manual-entry only. It does not read from or write to Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or any connected device or scale. All data is entered by you.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export everything to CSV from Settings whenever you want.
Is this medical advice?
No. Body Metrics is a personal tracking tool. It does not diagnose, recommend, or treat anything. Talk to a qualified health professional if you have questions about your body composition.
iOS or Android?
Both. Same feature set on both platforms.
How much does it cost?
Free to try. A one-time Pro purchase unlocks unlimited entries and advanced views. No subscription, no ads.
Body Metrics is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or replace guidance from a qualified health professional. Body composition estimates (BMI, WHtR, US Navy body fat) are approximations only.
