Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Vacationmaxxing ("the app") is developed by MrNick Apps. This privacy policy explains what data the app uses, how it is handled, and your rights.

Short version

Vacationmaxxing runs entirely on your device. It does not require an account, does not upload your data, does not use third-party analytics that identify you, and does not sell or share your data with anyone.

1. Data the app uses

  • Your plan — the vacation days you place, your country, plan year, vacation budget and settings. Stored locally on your device, never uploaded.
  • Your location (optional) — used only if you tap "spa & wellness near me" on the Book tab, to find experiences near your city. Your coordinates are turned into a city name on-device and are not stored on any server operated by MrNick Apps. When you use "spa & wellness near me," your city name (not your exact coordinates) is included in the search link that opens on a third-party maps/search provider, whose own privacy policy then applies. The app works fully without granting location access.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. Public holidays are computed on-device — no calendar service is contacted.

2. Booking links & affiliate disclosure

The Book tab contains links to third-party travel sites (for example hotel, flight and experience providers). Some of these are affiliate links: if you book something after tapping one, MrNick Apps may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is what keeps the app free and ad-free. When you tap such a link you leave the app and the third party's own privacy policy applies. The app sends them your selected travel dates (so they can be prefilled) — never your identity, plan or location.

3. Data storage

All app data lives in local storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes the data. There is no cloud backup operated by us; if your device backs the app up (e.g. via your OS backup), that is governed by your device vendor's policy.

4. Children

The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect.

5. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
